The PAIR system on modern sports and street bikes injects fresh air to the exhaust. This minimizes the amount of unburned fuel released into the air. This is why bangs occur during heavy deceleration, because the unburned fuel is burned.
However, if you disconnect the PAIR system, the FI light will come on immediately. This means that you cannot see, for example, when a serious problem arises with your engine.
The PS Eliminator solves this problem very easily - just plug it into the PAIR valve connector and you're all set!
