The Healtech Secondary throttle valve eliminator for removing the secondary throttle valve in the throttle body, this is the throttle valve that is controlled by the ECU and is located in front of the actual main throttle valve. Due to emissions and noise control regulations, secondary throttle valves have appeared in motorcycles in recent years. The motorcycle's ECU controls this secondary butterfly valve. For maximum performance and sharp throttle response, this secondary system is desirable to remove, especially in drag racing, road racing and circuit motorcycles. However, once you disconnect the secondary throttle actuator motor from the motorcycle's main wiring harness, the FI light on the dashboard will illuminate. The STV Eliminator connects directly to the motorcycle's wiring harness. Using this small device you can remove the entire secondary valve assembly including the actuator motor, the butterfly valve plates and also the stem/shaft.
