Triumph is one of the first motorcycle brands in the world. In 1902, the first motorcycle produced by Triumph was launched into the world. . Anyway, the low point was in 1983 when the Meriden factory had to close its doors. John Bloor purchases the Triumph brand name including the Meriden factory from Triumph and issues a license to have a small number of Bonnevilles manufactured by Les Harris in Devon. In 1987 with the first “new” Triumph engine, a 1200cc four-cylinder running on a test bench. This resulted in a new motorcycle and in 1990 the Triumph brand is back! Six new models will be unveiled at the Cologne show, the naked Trident 750 and 900 Triples, the tour models Trophy 900 Triple and 1200 Four and the sporty Daytona 750 Triple and 1000 Four.
From 1990 until now, the brand makes top motorcycles again and grows back into a leading motorcycle brand that is once again playing on the world stage. They mainly use two and three cylinder engines in the machines, which gives the Triumph a certain character. Triumph currently has a wide range. The Scramblers, Thruxton, Thunderbird, Speedmaster, Bonnevilles, America, Commander, Storm and the Rocket lead the classic range. Furthermore, with the Speed Triple, Street Triple and Daytone models, Triumph is not making them more sporty. The Tiger 800 and the Tiger 1200 represent the Adventure range
