BMC High Performance Air Filter

The knowledge gathered on the track is immediately put into practice in the production of these filters. This gives motorcyclists access to a product that has been tested very well. These air filters give power and are still being developed.

The materials used are the best on the market today. The filters have a rubber frame, which prevents possible leaks. The filter element is made of a special type of cotton fiber (4 layers), this fiber is soaked in a slightly sticky oil.

The filter element is encased in an aluminum net that has been treated with epoxy resin to protect it against exhaust fumes and corrosion. The cotton is washable and can therefore be reused.

These features allow more air to flow through the BMC Air Filter (a replacement filter) than with the original paper filter. More air means a better functioning engine and therefore more power.
