TRWmoto

Safety meets Performance

The parts manufacturer TRW Automotive is the worldwide market leader in automotive safety. TRWmoto is the division of the company that specializes in motorcycles, scooters, ATVs / quads and trikes.

From its base in Neuwied, Germany, TRWmoto supplies motorcycle parts and accessories worldwide under the legendary TRW-Lucas brand. Before the impressive success story of the Lucas brand in the spare parts market began, the company was already active as an OE supplier of electrical and braking components for almost all European engine manufacturers. Lucas was acquired by TRW Automotive in 1999.

TRWmoto has been successful for many years thanks to its very extensive range, maximum safety and quality and absolute loyalty to specialist retailers. Our wholesale partners now sell high-tech Neuwied products worldwide. The warehouses in Neuwied and Überherrn form the European aftermarket and sales center, with more than 32,000 m2 and 55,000 pallet spaces.

TRWmoto - standards for the automotive industry

In addition to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 (environmental management), TRW also has ISO / TS 16949 certification, the latest quality standard for the international automotive industry. In order to achieve maximum quality and thus safety, each individual product must pass additional tests based on internal guidelines before it enters the market. The work is enormous, but for TRWmoto it is essential. Ultimately, customers in many countries around the world rely on the consistent high quality and safety of TRW-Lucas branded products.
