The knowledge gathered on the track is immediately put into practice in the production of these filters. This gives motorcyclists access to a product that has been very well tested. These air filters provide power and are still being developed further.

The materials used are the best on the market today. The filters have a rubber frame, which prevents possible leaks. The filter element is made of a special type of cotton fiber (4 layers), this fiber is soaked in a slightly sticky oil.

The filter element is enclosed in an aluminum net that has been treated with epoxy resin to protect it from exhaust fumes and corrosion. The cotton is washable and can therefore be reused.

Thanks to these features, more air flows through the BMC Air Filter (a replacement filter) than with the original paper filter. More air means a better engine and therefore more power.
