BMC High Performance Air Filter

The knowledge gathered on the racetrack is immediately put into practice in the production of these filters. This gives motorcyclists access to a thoroughly tested product. These air filters provide performance and are still being developed further.

The materials used are the best currently available. The filters have a rubber frame, which prevents potential leaks. The filter element is made of a special type of cotton fiber (4 layers), which is soaked in a slightly sticky oil.

The filter element is encased in an aluminum mesh treated with epoxy resin to protect it from exhaust fumes and corrosion. The cotton is washable and therefore reusable.

Thanks to these features, more air flows through the BMC Air Filter (a replacement filter) than with the original paper filter. More air means a better engine performance and therefore more power.
